Featured Worship: Gungor
I connect with God through music.
From time to time I’ll feature bands and worship leaders, both well known and those flying under the radar, who are drawing The Church to the feet of Jesus.
This week: Gungor. I had the chance to check out Gungor when Bellarive opened for them a few months back in Orlando. Such an amazing band!
John Mark McMillan
I’ve become a huge fan of John Mark McMillan’s music over the last few month. His full length album “The Medicine” dropped today! Order it here … h, ttp://bit.ly/the_medicine.
We’re Back From Camp… Now What?
thElement Student Ministry just returned from an amazing week at camp! This year we looked at the the life of John the Baptist and asked the question, “What does it mean to be set apart?”
Many made life changing decisions at camp. Now the challenge remains for this to be more than simply a “mountain top experience.”
How do we bring the movement of camp home?
Here are a few thoughts:
First of all, share how God moved. Talk with friends, family, and leaders about what you learned and decisions you made. Accountability is huge! Give a few individuals you trust the ability to speak into your life and hold you accountable to the life changing experience camp was.
Next, write it down. Get a journal and record the verses, messages, and songs that spoke to you. It’s easy for life to distract and for camp to become a distant memory. By recording your thoughts in writing you will be able to look back and remember what you were thinking or how God specifically spoke to you in a moment.
It’s up to you. Will camp be an experience in your life you can look back on as life changing or will it be just another event?

Happy Father’s Day
Dads have an incredibly important roll to play! I hope today you are celebrated as well as reminded of how influential you are in the lives of your children.
Saw this video on Dave Gibbons blog and thought I’d pass it along.
